Who we are

Fluendo Embedded SL was conceived in 2006 with the aim of developing an open source media center built on top of the powerful GStreamer Multimedia framework. Moovida will be launched commercially in 2010, following the release of its beta version prototype, Elisa Media Center. Moovida will be characterized by an outstanding user experience, including a full set of Media Center features. Moovida is designed to offer a simple and intuitive interface to manage and enjoy all types of media on TV & PC. Its open architecture allows everyone, from individuals to third party companies, to develop plugins for content and services to be added to Moovida's digital ecosystem.

Fluendo Embedded SL is the youngest of 3 companies belonging to the Fluendo family. Its counterparts are Fluendo, leader in fully-licensed multimedia solutions for Linux based desktops and devices, and Flumotion, provider for the only cross-format streaming media encoder as well as open source platform server.
